Remember the excitement as someone takes your picture either professionally or on a cell phone–you can’t wait to see it!
Now a year or more goes by and you want that picture to see again!
 Where is it?
This blog will help you focus on establishing a system to organize, edit and then revisit monthly your favorite pictures!
THE PORTRAIT IS AN OPEN DOOR!
It reminds us of a memory, a feeling , a place or time we loved or long for.
The lost art of the printed photograph is having a resurgence and here is all you need to do. Print your favorite picture and display it! Sounds simple and obvious but not enough of us are doing it anymore.
1. BECOME AN EDITOR:
Review you own photos-discard those that are duplicates or not needed. Do this once a month or immediately after you take a series of pictures!
When I was a magazine editor, we could not be storing unnecessary photos- DO the same with yours.
2. FAVORITES:
Pick your favorites and make a folder to keep them in.  Every 6 months , review the favorites folder , discard the unwanted pictures and now your search for your favorites narrows to the selected final images.
3. SELECTED FINALS: A WALL OF MEMORIES
When a time of the year  approaches that you need a gift, or are celebrating an event, you can refer to these files and easily find one to print.
PRINT every year at least 3-5 photos and  enlarge 1 for a frame or a wall.
It does not have to be large- 8 x 8 is a great size and soon you will have 1 wall of memories that ca switch to new images time and again.
