Sally Ullman received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Pennsylvania and established her professional career there until 2013. Upon moving to Florida, Sally has quickly become one of Sarasota’s favorite photographers. In 2016, Sally won the Volunteer of the Year award from the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, and was recognized as a Rising Star in 2015 and 2014.
Her extensive professional career, began immediately after college graduation as a professional photographer; first through advertising photography and graphic design, then progressed to photojournalism, and subsequently she became a studio photographer. Mrs. Ullman has used her education and experience to deliver exceptional results to her clients ever since.
Sally Ullman has been recognized by her industry and peers as a talented photographer. She has received the Philadelphia Art Directors Award for excellence in food photography, The Benjamin Franklin Gold Award, and a listing in Who’s Who in American Photographers. Her work has been published in many books, magazines, and advertising promotions.
In addition to being the trusted photographer to generations of families and business professionals, corporate clients include Antheneum Books, Rodale Press, National Direct Marketing, Smarthealth, Philadelphia Magazine, Viking-Penguin Books, Stoh’s Brewery, Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance and Selby gardens.
By popular demand, Sally has also entered the field of “Business Branding” through photography. As a speaker sought after by both organizations and companies, Sally brings alive such topics as “Turning your Passion into a Career”, “Reinventing your Business”, and the “Impact of Visual Branding®” .
Her passion for serving the community through photography extends to being passionate about making her community a vibrantly colorful and supporting place.
Sally volunteers with many organizations including serving as a Team Captain for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, being a mentor for students who want to learn more about photography and a member of the eWomen Network leadership committee. She is a member of Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS), NPS, PPA, Society of the Arts, Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, Toastmasters International, Realtors Association of Sarasota and Manatee and volunteers for Sarasota Manatee Association for Riding Therapy.

A Roaming Shoot
This is a journalistic style of photography that I use to give a very natural look with many pose changes. This is especially suitable to young children and works best outdoors.

Some people choose to photograph in their homes or on their own property. Perhaps we could meet at a park or other beautiful location! The choice is yours.
